My two front teeth stick out and i cannot have a brace could veneers work?

i am in my 20's and have been told a brace will not work but i went and saw a cosmetic dentist and she said she could help me by using porcelain veneers i am dubious , obviously my teeth will look better but they are in good condition anyway i have very big doubts that they can improve the alignment of my teeth though which is why i want the treatment,can someone give me some advice as i want to be able to smile without putting my hand over my mouth first.

i have seen braces on people over 20. i take it she told you why it wouldn't work. maybe get a second opinion.
Reply:eat carrots and say "what's up Doc" over and over again, ---seriously---don't wory about it as you'll find there's more in life to worry about than that, shouldn't think anyone notices anyway ;o) its cute in a girl.
Reply:Veneers wont do anything for prominent teeth except make them look whiter and neater.





Why won't a brace work, yes you do need a second opinion, don't part with any money until you have all the options then decide which is best for you. Sounds as though the dentist just wants to make money from you.
