Porcelain Veneers???

i dunno if i spelled that right, but i want them SO bad. My two front have have a little space in between, its not that bad but i HATE it! I should have got braces when i was little but i was too scared. Anyway i tryed to get invisiline but the dentist said it wouldnt work. So i was just wondering how much they are, and if they hurt and all that stuff. thanks!!

Porcelain Veneers???
In my office we charge $950.00 a veneer. Contrary to what that other answerer said, it is not just movie stars who get them. We had a middle age woman come in a couple of months ago, who got all 6 front teeth done. Veneers are not done on molars, at least not by any dentist I have worked for. The process usually takes about 3 weeks, but since they are very visible, sometimes there are multiple tryin appointments trying to get the shape and shade just right. The teeth can be sensitive because the enamel on the facial side is removed, but once the veneer is in place that should go away.

Really hun, don't hate your gap. I actually wish I HAD one, I'm not even kidding. I love those kinds of things, they make people who they are. Live with your gap and don't get your teeth grinded.
Reply:They are VERY EXPENSIVE. Usually only Hollywood stars have them done to have perfect white teeth. I've heard it costs between 1 to 2 thousand per tooth. That is at least 32 thousand dollars for a mouthfull. And that is saying a mouthfull ! Good Luck ! :)
