Porcelain veneers ........?

has anyone had porcelain veneers? how long where you advised that they last ? have they broken,discoloured or cracked ?did it transform your smile? i am about to pay 2500 for this treatment and wanted a few opinions from real people and not statistics on paper .........thank you in advance for answers.

1200. is the normal cost for each from a experienced dentist who uses a high quality veneer from a reputable lab





be weary of low cost veneers, practices not


giving you a five year replacement,someone who does not offer to become your regular provider maintaining your health as well as their work


you get what you pay for





ask for pictures of actual work,ask to see anyone in the office with their work, do they have anyone who will comment on their experience with the dentist,good dentistry is happy healthy smiles a cosmetic dentist should have patients who have smiles and teeth they are willing to show off and be admired.

Reply:i have not personally but know people who have. in fact i was eating dinner out with my brother in law when one of his fell off mid meal! we thought it was funny, but he did not. if the quality of wrok is good, you shouldn't have any problems. my mother has had them for at least 20 yrs without problems
