I'm considering porcelain veneers, can anyone tell me a approx price and does it hurt to have them done?

Porcelain Veneers are expensive per one..700-1000 is the correct range. (actual depends on the dentist you see)

It is also considered cosmetic.. Since you could get crowns instead or other options.

If your current insurance won't cover it because it is considered cosmetic under their policy, there is a supplemental dental policy you can buy for $19.95 a month.. and get 40-80% off all work done! It's better to pay for a few months of supplment dental plan, than pay full price!

At the website, if you have any questions please click on the contact section and it gives my telephone number. I'd be glad to walk you through the plan.

Good Luck with your procedure!

These are rather expensive about $1000 a set, as for the hurting part, no problem. You might want to watch Extreme Makeover, currently running on Style Network, they do them all the time.
Reply:I have porcelain veneers. I had my top 6 teeth done. It was 700 per tooth ($4200.00). It all depends on your dentist and how many you get. Your insurance will not cover it because it is cosmetic. It is not painful, maybe a little unconfortable, but they numb you just like if you were having anything else done.
