I want porcelain veneers for my first 4-5 teeth..how much is it gonna cost me???

i have little seperations in my teeth, nothing too serious. but not perfect for me, and no i dont want braces. i just want something quick.....

Most insurance companies consider this "cosmetic" and will not cover it. Depending on where you live it might be.....3000? I can't remember how much our office pays, I like to stay in the back of the office, I don't deal with the money :). You can try to get financial assistance. Our office offers CareCredit, which is like a credit card for medical and dental purposes. They offer a plan with no interest for a year if you make your minimum payments. Hope I helped :)

It depends on where you live, like if you live in a rich area, then it will be really expensive, if you go to an area that is middle class or lower then you may get a deal, but you run the risk of getting horrible work.
Reply:I have two veneers on my front teeth. It cost $2200. I think the more you get the cheaper each veneer gets, but don't count on it being less than $900-$950 a tooth.
Reply:A good ballpark estimate is $1000 per tooth. Keep in mind it is very difficult to do only 4 teeth and make them look good. In most cases a minimum of 6 teeth is necessary to get a really good result. Also, you should realize that the lifespan of veneers is only about 10 years. So if you are 30 you can expect to have those veneers replaced 4 or 5 times!!!





If you have nicely shaped teeth and just want to close the gaps I would look for a dentist who does "short term orthodontics." Not everyone is a candidate for short-term braces, but if you are this means that you only have to wear the braces for a few months instead of a few years. Some dentists can also be place the braces behind your teeth to hide them.





I am a dentist and I will only do veneers if somebody has really ugly teeth. Braces and bleaching are almost always my first recommendation.
Reply:Mine cost $900 per tooth, but my insurance covered half because mine were not cosmetic (a recover of some bonding I had done in second grade). I'd say they're definitely worth it, but not cheaper than braces if you want to do that many teeth. And if you can get away with 6 months of braces, I'd do that instead.
