A question about porcelain veneers...?

Some year down the line (when I can afford it) I might get veneers to cover up mild orthodontic problems. My question is, do you have do get veneers on every single tooth or on just the ones that you see when you speak or smile? I know they are about $1000 per veneer so I was wondering. Thanks for the help!

A question about porcelain veneers...?
You can just veneer the ones you would like to.
Reply:No you don't have to get them on every single tooth. I have them just on my upper teeth because my lower teeth are decent and aren't seen when I smile/talk.
Reply:you can get wotever ones u want. they drill the tooth down and pout it over it like a false fingernail. i would say your centrals 8 and 9 and laterals 7 and 10 to be done.. then canines 6 and 11 guess ur ortho dint do so well??
Reply:No, we don't do veneers on every tooth because they are not strong enough. You have to be aware of them at all times. They are usually done one the front ones you can see. We just did a case and they turned out so good. We drilled all the teeth down to were we needed them, yea there's a temp but most find it's easier not to wear it, and in two - three weeks you come back to have them put on. It does take a long time. They are placed on each tooth the way you would do a composite filling.
