I am 19 years old and interested in getting porcelain veneers. On average, how much do they cost?

I have heard porcelain veneers generally cost about $1,000 per tooth. Is this true? Is a (monthly) payment plan available? I am interested in getting my top 6 and lower 6 done (12 total). I have healthy teeth but are naturally yellow (inherited by my father). Also, I live in Indiana and am trying to find the best Dr. to do this. Any information/cost would be great! Thanks.

Reply:Some dentists offer payment plans so you don't have to pay right away. Shop around and call different offices to see what their veneer prices are, some even have free smile analysis

Reply:i got one about 2 months ago, they last allot longer but i paid 700.00 for the one, i live in Oklahoma so it may even run more where you are, but you will defiantly like them better than the old version
Reply:your doctor wants your money of corse he's gonna say they would look nice. What he didn't tell you is porcelain veneers fall out all the time and then you will look like a hockey player.
Reply:if you have healthy teeth, then you should try whitening them - even naturally yellow teeth can be bleeched lighter. When they put on veneers, they will widdle you natural teeth away, and I know lots of ppl with veneers and they are not what they are cracked up to be. They are great if your teeth are really bad (crooked, missing, uneven) but in the end they look fake. Veneers are better than unhealthy teeth, but natural healthy teeth are always the best.
Reply:oh sweetie it's a pitty you don't live near the border with Mexico, because there u could get those for like a hundred bucks each tooth, they have really great dentists over there believe it or not. With all that money u r planning to spend you could even pay the trip. :-D
