Can Porcelain Veneers correct a mildly gummy smile?

I had braces for three years. Now that I have had the braces off for a little while, I am starting to notice in pictures and when I smile that I have a little bit of a gummy smile. Especially when I am laughing. Because of that, I try not to smile real big. I just feel like my teeth are small.

I have heard of gum surgery to correct it, but I don't think it is that drastic enough for a surgery. I was wondering if anyone knew if Porcelain Veneers could correct a mildly gummy smile like mine? Please look at my photos. Thanks.

Check w/ your Dentist. Your gums may be inflamed (swollen, periodontal disease) only time, good brushing (not hard they will bleed) and flossing will help. Lots of people who get their braces off have problems w/ swollen gums. Its hard to get your teeth really clean w/ braces on.

PS nice looking smile. Your teeth are the right size.
Reply:oh i think you have lovely teeth,i would not change them,do you ever notice that some stars who have venners when they smile in pics you can also see there gums so i dont think it will correct it,your pic looks fine you have a really lovely smile xxx
