Porcelain veneers, can they be bad fo your teeth?

ok so they put them on over your teeth and cover them... wouldn't that hurt your teeth by not being able to clean the tooth itself with your toothbrush? from people who have porcelain veneers have you ever had any pain you think may be caused by them? or is there something I haven't heard about them?

Porcelain veneers, can they be bad fo your teeth?
Well, PV's are expensive number one and they don't last forever. Generally they last for 10-15 years with proper care.

The veneer fits over your tooth like an acrylic nail does over your real nail. It's adhered with cement so it's on there pretty tightly. You still are able to floss and take care of your teeth as you always have.

Your tooth is prepared before they apply the veneer by removing some of your tooth enamel. This means you will always need to wear the veneers because your teeth will be compromised.

You may have some tooth sensitivity, but for the most part they don't cause pain and they can help you go from an ok smile to a great smile.

Take care of them and they'll last for quite awhile.
